NYC Pizza was founded in the summer of 2006 with the formal opening on December 14th.  Kenneth Lehman, JR. is the son of Kenneth Lehman and the nephew of Bernard Lehman who are the brothers responsible for bringing New York Pizza to Oklahoma during the summer of 1985.  The brothers restaurant, Pizza Quick which ran for 10 years was originally located next to East Central High School (11th Street and 129th East Avenue).  Raised in the Pizza Industry and groomed to follow in his family’s footsteps, Kenneth JR. was 19 years old when he started NYC Pizza.

The question is often asked as to what makes NYC Pizza different from other pizzerias saying they have New York City pizza…the answer is simple.  NYC Pizza is prepared according to a strict family recipe just as it is prepared in New York City itself.  Other places have pizza that is New York City “styled”.  But only NYC Pizza has the real deal.
